Ndere troupe is a cultural dance group founded by Rwangezi Stephen in 1986 to entertain and educate people through music, dance and drama. The word ‘endere’ means ‘flute’, a symbol chosen from the musical instrument with beautiful and irre4sistable music that can be manipulated to express a range of emotions; from sorrow to joy and from love to loneliness. Activities at Ndere cultural center include; cultural music and dances, photography, local drama and skits, poems and traditional games, among others.
